Indian startups raised more than $1.08 billion in the week of 22–27 June 2026, with fintech unicorn CRED topping the list by value and AI emerging as the most active sector by number of deals — including raises for Sarvam AI, Pramaana Labs, Sherlocks AI and others. India’s year-to-date venture funding through June 2026 stands at roughly $9.71 billion across 877 rounds, up 21% year-on-year, underscoring continued investor appetite for India’s AI and analytics ecosystem even as consumer sectors also compete for capital.

What this means for our clients: Every funding cycle like this creates a fresh wave of teams that need to hire — and upskill — data and AI talent fast. That is the gap our training programmes exist to fill.
