OrangeTree Global, now marketed as OrangeTree AI, is an Indian data science, analytics and artificial-intelligence training and consulting company headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Operated by Orangetree Business Solutions Private Limited, the company has trained more than 10,000 professionals and served 50+ corporate clients since its founding in 2009.[1]
Founded as a boutique data analytics training institute, the company built a 17-year track record in data science and analytics training and consulting before repositioning in 2026 around a single mission: making practical, affordable AI adoption possible for India’s 63 million micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). OrangeTree Global remains the legal and legacy brand name; OrangeTree AI (also referenced as OrangeTree.{ai}) is the identity under which the company now takes its consulting practice, AI SME Suite and training programs to market.
History
OrangeTree Global was founded in Kolkata in 2009 as a boutique data analytics training institute, running weekend programs in Excel, SQL and Business Analytics; its first cohort comprised 18 professionals from banking and manufacturing. The business was incorporated as Orangetree Business Solutions Private Limited in 2011, the same year it expanded from Kolkata into Mumbai and Pune.[1]

Repositioning as OrangeTree AI
In 2026, the company repositioned itself from a data science and analytics training institute into India’s dedicated MSME AI adoption company, trading under the name OrangeTree AI (also styled OrangeTree.{ai}) while retaining Orangetree Business Solutions Private Limited as its legal entity and OrangeTree Global as its founding brand. The repositioning unifies three previously separate strands — consulting, the AI SME Suite, and training — into a single MSME-focused partnership model.
